The dishes are consistently "top notch". We have been there several times. My favorite: Sour kidney with fried potatoes.

If you like Swabian specialties, you have to visit this restaurant.

Great value for money, delicious food, nice ambience

It was worth a visit again. On September 12th, 2020 we went to the 4th meal. In a great atmosphere in the beer garden, we enjoyed delicious food with a nice waitress. Nice, rustic ambience, delicious food and large portions. Also very (child) friendly. It doesn't get any better in my opinion.

It's no secret, this place is my favorite. Great cozy rustic ambience, a chef who charms every guest with charm and a kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to conjuring up good Swabian and German cuisine fresh and delicious on your plate. A MUST for every Swabian and all those who want to enjoy Swabian treats prepared with love. You shouldn't miss game weeks. Booking is an advantage. I'm looking forward to next time ......

German restaurant with interesting decor and tasty food. Food 5/5 - Have nothing to complain, I ordered the "Maultaschen Jäger Art" and got exactly what I asked for. The combination of sauces and meat was a little questionable, but that was on me for choosing said dish. Place 3/5 - There is so much (unnecessary) decoration that it starts getting in the way of having enough place to eat and conversating. The seating is not the most comfortable. Service 3/5 - The wait for our food was way too long, definetely over 45minutes. During the evening an elderly couple entered the restaurant and was seated at our table, since we were only seated on one half of it. The waitress also didn't really give us enough time to choose from the menu before taking our orders. Probably wouldn't go there again, although the food was good.

We were there with a closed event with 70 people. The decor is lovely and well maintained. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was delicious. Unfortunately the staff, although very nice and hard-working, overwhelmed with the process of the event and the food. Salad was quick. But after that we had to wait a long time. Otherwise for a normal restaurant visit with a moderate number of people absolutely recommendable.

Great food at reasonable prices, with the huge selection of traditional dishes, The ambience is furnished with a time machine with a lot of details. With the eager staff the experience was complete. Absolutely recommended.
